So What's New at The BikeE Pages?

02/25/08

Philip O'Leary has decided to no longer maintain and publish his BikeE Pages web site. To keep the BikeE Pages available I have asked Phillip if I could move them to the bikee.org domain and publish them here. He has granted permission to do that. The BikeE discusion board is being maintained by another member of the BikeE community and will continue as well. Phillip, the BikeE community wishes to thank you for all the work you have done to collect and organize this information so that it is still available to us. We wish you the best as you continue on with your life's endeavors.

There is not currently a way to communicate with the webaster of this website. If you have questions I encourage you to use the discussion board or join the bikee mailing list.

I removed all of the email links because of idiotic Nigerian Scammers getting a hold of my email address and bombarding me with junk mail.  It seemed I was getting 20 or more offers every day to either give me millions of dollars, make a part of me bigger or all of me smaller.  I'm sorry but if you are offering me millions if I will only give you my bank account number you are a scum-bag scammer, I don't need any part of me made bigger and all of me is just the right size, thank you very much.

On a nicer note Elisa Hunter sent in the manual for the BikeE Cyclometer.  It's over on the MEDIA page.

Thanks to David Middleton for some new links and info on broken links.

Just an update to let you know I'm still here.  I still answer all polite emails and the message board is still active.  There wasn't any new information to post so that's why there haven't been any major updates to the site.  However, I have received some new links from a BikeE owner so those will be going up soon.  Keep sending me anything you do not see here on The BikeE Pages.  If you have any tips or tricks or anything of value to the BikeE orphan community send em in.  Thanks.

I received quite a bit of information and media from DVPRO, the company that created BikeE's marketing CD.  I wanted to put all of the information on the website but the amount of space required was just too large.  If you would like to get a CD with all of this information I will send one for a donation of $5 or more to help cover the costs of sending it.  As of 2/24/08 these are no longer available.

Many people have asked who I am and why I created the BikeE Pages so I decided to make a personal page.  It can be accessed over on the owners gallery.  I'll be adding stuff to it periodically.  Just a place for me to tell who I am, vent and share.

10/18/04

Modified the links outside the BikeE Pages to open a new window rather than take you away from the BikeE Pages.  That way you won't have to keep hitting the back button to return.

05/13/04

Testing a new interactive BikeE format.  Still under construction.  Let me know what you think.  It's on the front page.

04/05/04

Added several manuals to the Bikes page and the Media page.  Also added some new reviews.  My thanks to Norm Reuss, Joseph Barrett and David Browder for their help in making this information available.  More information will be added in the next few days.

12/10/03

Added a BikeE manual in Word format.  It's located on the Bikes page.  Thanks to David Browder and John T. Fleming for their help and effort in making the electronic version of the manual available.

11/03/03

One new link and two new trips.

10/30/03

I changed the message board provider.  The new board has no pop-up ads so should be more user friendly.  It is also searchable which may be of use.  I'll give it a trial run and see how it goes.  Let me know what you think.

10/29/03

Wow, it's the end of the month already.  Put up a new link to an electric motor manufacturer.  They are designed to work on BikeEs.  Check out the Links page.  There's a new ride report from England on the Trips page.

10/02/03

Found info on some obscure models of the CT and AT.  They were sold as "All Around" and "RoadE" models back in 1998.  They can be found on the Bikes page.  Also added info on the hat and T-shirt BikeE used to sell, to the Accessories page.  Wish I had bought them.  Anybody got any they want to give me?  :)

10/01/03

Added a Tech Page for the E2.  More tech pages coming as I gather the information.

09/30/03

Added a lot of the information from the BikeE knowledge base to the Frequently Asked Questions Page.  Also created several model specific FAQ pages, accessed from The Frequently Asked Questions Page.

08/07/03

I have created a BikeE message board.  This will be a place to discuss everything BikeE.  If it works ok I'll add some additional categories dealing with maintenance, commuting, touring etc.  The main link to the message board will be on The BikeE Pages' front page.

Well it's been forever since I added an update.  The Summer break from school and nice biking weather have made me neglect the page somewhat.  I do have much to add over the next few weeks however.  There is an amendment to Denis Diekhoff's faring instructions.  I also added Denis to the Gallery page.  A new tip on Seat Creep is on the Tips page.  More to come.

Put photos of the different models on the Bikes page.  Clicking on the photo will take you to the info as well as clicking on the name.  Photo is easier to hit I think.  Still have not put anyone up on the Patrons page  :(

The BikeE Pages are finally up and running.  My thanks to everyone who helped with providing information, help,  tips and encouragement.  I hope to keep updating the BikeE pages as information is sent to me or if I discover something I feel may be of interest to BikeE orphans.  If you know of something that should be in these pages, please let me know.  In the mean time, read about BikeEs, learn and get out and ride, ride, ride.
