Presenting the next step in the evolutionary cycle...
In the hundred-odd years since the traditional double-diamond frame first
rode upon the scene, bikes have become lighter, faster, more versatile, and
have been built using more exotic materials. Still, the basic look of the
bicycle hasn't changed in over a century.
Nor, when riding one, has our own basic look.
We still ride with our faces pointed down. We still support our upper
bodies with our hands and arms. Just like our great great grand folks did. We
still absorb every rock, rut and railroad track through that thong-like device
that's called a seat.
Well, to a few of us, revolution was years overdue.
So we designed and built the most comfortable bike in the history of
mankind. And just one ride on either a 7- or 21-speed BikeE will tell you that
we didn't sacrifice speed, maneuverability, or a single heartbeat of fun.
Now, you probably noticed right off that a BikeE looks a little different
from other bikes. But understand that when you're designing a bicycle to
accommodate the human form, certain things have to change.
We started at the bottom by giving the BikeE an actual seat. We didn't
scrimp on padding, either. And its backrest (that's right, a backrest) affords
the rider not only additional comfort, but a terrific method of transferring
power to the legs.
So while you're passing all those other bikes out on the road, slow down
and give their riders a long, painful-to-watch demonstration of another BikeE
advantage.
The fact that you're sitting upright!
Besides being far kinder to the human body, riding through the world in
this manner is safer. You're more aware of what's going on around you. It's
easier to make eye contact with motorists.
And whether you're touring or just wasting an afternoon, kicking back on
your BikeE means you can enjoy the scenery without having to constantly lift
your head. There's even a full line of accessories, including a rack that fits
under the seat. So on a BikeE, you're always ready for a trip to the store, or
to the other end of the country.
Should you encounter any red lights along the way, the BikeE's slanted,
aerospace aluminum frame means that your feet will always be able to reach the
ground, even while you're still sitting on the seat.
Something that's not possible with a traditional bike.
And when the road you've chosen is in particular need of repair, you'll be
happy to know that the BikeE's rear wheel is supported by a cantilevered fork
that soaks up bumps. Combine this with the aforementioned seat, and what you
have is a more comfortable bicycle ride than you ever thought possible.
Finally, you don't have to reach way out there to grab hold of the
handlebars. On a BikeE, they come to you.
The resulting balance and feel make the lightweight BikeE incredibly
responsive and maneuverable. One reason why the editor of Cycle America called
BikeE the "funniest bike I've ever ridden."
So fast, it'll blow the spokes off most other bikes.
So fun, it's been hailed as the perfect bike for city and play.
So comfortable, you can tour on it for weeks...and actually walk away from
it.
Though you won't stay away for long.
BikeE. The next step in the evolutionary cycle is here. Enjoy the ride.
