Suspension Road Bicycle Sets Benchmark for Speed, Comfort and
Innovation in a
Recumbent.
Speed, comfort and the latest in bicycle drivetrain technology is
now included on the BikeE NX 5.0.
The 16-speed BikeE NX 5.0 utilizes BikeE's award winning
suspension design with geometry specific to the performance cyclist.
Components on the NX include the Mountain Drive 2-speed internal
bottom bracket, Hayes disc brakes, 8-speed SRAM drivetrain, sealed
bearing hubs, new five-way adjustable Sweet-Seat™
and a Cane Creek AD5 air shock absorber. New on the NX is an
adjustable/interchangeable handlebar. The BikeE NX is designed to
have the same speed potential as a high-end conventional road bike
with the fun and comfort BikeE has become famous for.
A key design goal in the BikeE NX 5.0 was to create a recumbent
that would put to rest the myth that a recumbent does not perform as
well as a conventional bike. By lowering the weight, widening the
gear range and improving the components, the NX has achieved that
goal.
Available in Anodized Green, the NX is ideal for riders seeking
the same speed potential as a high-end conventional road bike with
the fun and comfort BikeE has become famous for.
Options: Two frame sizes: standard for riders to
6'3", extra long (XL) for riders up to 6'9" and heavier
riders over 6'1". The XL frame is ideal for average height
riders wishing more rear frame carrying capacity or room for a
frame-mounted rack.
