Here you will find BikeE owners and information about their BikeEs

My name is Philip O'Leary and I am the owner of The BikeE Pages.  I live in Alabama, USA and own a CT 2.0.  I have added the following items to my CT:  fenders, pannier rack, BikeE bag, and computer.  I changed the pedals to Shimano SPDs, the rear derailleur to Shimano Deore XT with Sram 5.0 shifters, and added a top loading stem with ATB handlebars.  The tires are Primo Comets.  I also removed the chain tube and chain guards on the chain rings.  I chose the CT 2.0 primarily for it's price and comfort but also for it's simplicity and frequent use of standard bicycle parts.  The type of riding I enjoy on my CT includes errands, commuting to work and long distance touring. Note: I have sold my CT but am hoping to aquire an NX at some point and have a super-fast road bike.

My name is Robin Parkes. I live in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. I ride a BikeE CT I bought in May 2002. I had been on the BikeE website many times early in 2002 and then eventually rang a dealer in London to ask about the bike after having had a bad experience with a SWB 'bent. I had ordered the BikeE by the time the conversation ended. I have a BikeE bag and mudguards along with a Cateye Mity 3 computer. I have recently installed a set of Primo Comets (a gift from a very good friend) as I couldn't get them here or in England. They have made the greatest difference. The bike is easier to ride. I go for rides with my son on his wedgie and we would ride quiet country roads. The BikeE is a most user friendly bike and I now have ridden just over 400 miles on it. It's now better than ever.
My name is Ben Littauer.  I've had my BikeE AT for about 3 years and it has served me well.  I went bent because I had a lot of shoulder and neck problems from the riding position on a conventional bike.  The BikeE is stock except that I replaced the original AT seat with the SweetSeat base to help alleviate numb toes, I have Shimano pedals, and the rear tire is a Schwalbe 100psi Kevlar (much easier pedaling that the original Primo Comet).  You see me here next to the bike path in Albany near the Erie canal.
My name is John Ingrassia. I just got my BikeE AT last year when the company went belly up. Got a great deal on eBay. Ride mainly for recreation, but when the weather's nice I make the 30 mile trip to work. I live in the flatlands of Delaware, so it's a pretty easy run.  I have disk problems in my neck, which precludes me from riding my old mountain bike. No problem at all with BikeE. This thing really changed my life!
I'm Norm Reuss of Williston, Vermont. I was the proud owner of a '98 AT and a '99 CT. When BikeE went belly up and the deals began to appear on Ebay I snapped up this '02 CT frame and began cannibalizing my older AT and CT. My new BikeE fit nicely in a CrateWorks box for a mid-winter trip to FLA. I also own an E2 that I ride with my wife, Barbara. These bikes are great and I now have a full 'parts box' so I'll never go belly up!
I got a '98 AT in '99 and a '00 FX in '00. Most of my riding is in the city and they ride great! Fixing flats on the BikeE doesn't seem any worse than on a 'safety frame' but it's still annoying. I like to flip the bike upside down and go at it.  That's a lie! I don't really like it, if given a choice.  The choice for me was to use 'Hookworms' on the back wheel with thorn
proof tubes (very thick rubber). I like the Kenda Krisp and thick tubes on the front of the FX best but had to keep the Vmonster on the AT (with thick tubes again) because the fork is so narrow.  Since I made the tube and tire changes I've not had a flat in 2 years.

I took the FX down to Puerto Vallarta for a month in '01 and even with the dual suspension it was not much fun riding on the cobble stone streets. Denis Diekhoff
